Online Edit Utility – All Lines Now Available

We are excited to announce the immediate availability of the Online Edit utility for Automobile (A), Automobile Excess (AEX), Assigned Risk (ARP), Assigned Risk Excess (ARPEX), North Carolina Auto (AQR), and North Carolina Auto Excess (AQREX)! The NISS Online Edit feature provides member companies with a streamlined process to test their data before submitting to NISS. It utilizes the same edit tables, codes, and reports that NISS uses internally to process your data. There are no file size limitations or software requirements for using this Online Edit utility, and it is provided to our members free of charge.

This NISS Online Edit utility allows member companies to upload files for testing as often as desired. We hope the ease of use and elimination of any file size limitations will encourage members to get the maximum benefits from this utility. The Online Edit is now available for all lines of business.

This utility will continue to be refined on an ongoing basis. We hope you find the Online Edit very useful as we continue to try to make the reporting process as easy and simple as possible.

NISS Workshop Recap

NISS held its Statistical Workshop in Indianapolis on April 8. The workshop received positive feedback, both from attendees that had worked in statistical reporting for years and those new to statistical reporting.

The workshop covered a range of topics, including:

• Why Statistical Reporting is Required

• Preparation of Data

• Submission of Data

• Data Quality Reports

• Reviewing and Editing Data

• Reports and Compilations

It also included a thorough walkthrough of the NISS website, including tutorials on the member-interactive features.

We enjoyed meeting all the attendees and hope to see you at future workshops!

• In June, NISS will attend Insurtech Insights in New York City, New York

• In September, NISS will host a booth at the NAMIC Convention in San Diego, California

• In October, NISS will attend the InsureTech Connect Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada
