Website Grid Update: Downloadable Linked Files
|
|
Recently some of our member companies requested an easier way to download their original file submissions from the NISS website. We are happy to announce an update to the NISS website to give companies simple access to those files.
User submissions made after January 1st, 2022, can now be downloaded directly from a hyperlink on the Submit Data Calls page of the NISS website. Submitted file names are active hyperlinks so that members can download their own submissions easily with the click of a mouse. We will keep three calendar years of submissions on the website available for download for member companies. We hope companies will find this new feature helpful as we continue to improve our website and continue to make the reporting process as simple as it can be.

NISS Workshop Postponed – Now October 17th
|

In light of the current state of the pandemic, the NISS Statistical Workshop – originally scheduled for May – will be postponed until Monday, October 17, 2022. It will be scheduled to take place in person in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The workshop is a one-day event that begins at 9:00 AM and ends by 4:00 PM EST. The workshop covers a range of topics, including:
a brief history of statistical reporting terms and concepts an overview of the NISS internal flow of data annual statement reconciliation excess loss reporting resources and reporting tips edit tools data quality reports explanation of reports sent on behalf of member companies frequently found errors
It also includes a thorough walkthrough of the NISS website, including tutorials on the member-interactive features. The workshop is fairly technical in nature and primarily directed to staff members that are involved in the details of data management and statistical reporting. It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet the NISS staff. More information will be coming soon. We hope to see you there!
