Customer Service Survey

NISS recently sent a customer service survey to many of our member company representatives. The feedback we receive on this survey is very important to us, and we use the responses for many different reasons, including:

  • To understand what areas of NISS statistical reporting are most important or challenging to our member companies so we can focus our attention on providing resources to simplify those areas
  • To get the opinions of our member companies on new ideas that are being considered
  • To identify areas in which we can improve our statistical reporting service

Your feedback helps us ensure the statistical reporting process is as simple as it can be and helps us provide you the best tools and resources in the industry.

NISS Workshop Recap

NISS held its Statistical Workshop in downtown Indianapolis on May 9th. The workshop received great feedback, both from attendees that had worked in statistical reporting for years and those new to statistical reporting.

The first half of the workshop focused on a brief history of statistical reporting, terms and concepts, an overview of the NISS internal flow of data, excess loss examples and excess reporting options, and annual statement reconciliation. During the afternoon, we took a deeper look into reporting different lines of business. Topics included reporting tips, a walkthrough of edit tools including Edit Software, and frequently found errors. Throughout the day NISS included tutorials which covered all the member-interactive features of our website.

We enjoyed meeting all the attendees and hope to see you at future workshops!
