Filing Preparation Checklist and Statistical Reporting Guide |
Our top priority is to make the reporting process as simple and painless as possible for our member companies. We have recently launched two more resources which we believe companies will find very helpful:
- Filing Preparation Checklist: This is a checklist which details the sequence of general tasks a company should follow each year to ensure all regulatory statistical reporting requirements are met.
- Statistical Reporting Guide: This guide is geared towards helping companies that are new to statistical reporting. It is written in a Q&A format and should help new member companies and new employees of current member companies understand the basics of statistical reporting.
Both the Filing Preparation Checklist and the Statistical Reporting Guide are available on our website. As always, these resources are free downloads for our member companies. If you would like more information regarding either of these documents, please contact us here.

Customer Service Survey Results |
Periodically, NISS sends out a customer service survey to our member companies to help us discover areas in which we are meeting or exceeding expectations as well as to assess ways we can make the reporting process easier for our members. At the end of 2014, we received results from our most recent survey, and the responses were overwhelmingly positive:
In terms of the timeliness of staff members in addressing any questions, when do you generally receive an answer?
What is your overall satisfaction rating of NISS?
We also received many positive comments, such as:
- “I enjoy working with all the people at NISS. They are friendly and helpful.”
- “Anyone I talk to or work with at NISS is very considerate and helpful.”
- “I am very happy with NISS. The ease of reporting stat data and the helpful staff that is always there to assist in any way possible. The website is very easy to use and helpful.”
- “NISS has a great team of employees to work with. If they don't know the answer right away, they are quick to review and get back to you within a day. They are considerate of the company's time involved to correct errors and are willing to work with you.”
NISS is very pleased with the responses from the survey. We will continue to do all we can to make the reporting process as easy and simple as it can be.
