Edit Software |
NISS is currently developing Edit Software for Burglary, Robbery, and Theft, Fidelity and Surety, Inland Marine, and Farmowners, all of which will be available for the 2014 Call Year. The NISS Edit Software is a resource designed to allow member companies to edit their submissions at the desktop level and to view a separate distribution of their data prior to submission to NISS. Both the Edit Software and the corresponding documentation and instructions are available for download (free of charge) under the Edit Tools dropdown from the member's side of the NISS website. Our Technical Advisory Committee has been giving their input and will be helping to test the software before launch in early 2014.
We continue to receive positive feedback from member companies that use the Edit Software and look forward to providing more edit tools in the future to make the reporting process as simple as possible.

Coming soon - NISS website makeover! |
NISS is always looking for ways to improve and enhance our website, as it is our most utilized resource. In the coming months, the NISS website will have a fresh new look and several additional enhancements, including:
- Easier navigation
- More efficient user interface
- Simplified web pages to easily find what you need
- More company specific content
NISS listened to suggestions from member companies to see what enhancements would be most helpful and have incorporated their suggestions into the redesigned website. We look forward to the release of the updated site, and will continue to listen to our member feedback as we strive to provide the best resources in the industry.
| Industry Meetings Update |
NISS recently hosted a booth at the NAMIC Convention in Seattle, Washington, and attended the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) Annual Conference in Toronto, Ontario. In September, we held our Annual Meeting here at NISS headquarters in Indianapolis. NISS will be attending the upcoming NAIC meetings in Washington DC in December.

Meet Audrey Symmes |

 Audrey Symmes has been with NISS for two and a half years as a Statistical Analyst. She currently focuses on commercial lines and Illinois Cost Containment.
Audrey graduated from Ball State, and has been married for three and a half years to her husband Tyler. They have two dogs, a German Shepherd named Addie and a Dachshund named Penny. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, Zumba, reading, and spending time with her four year old niece.
